#THINGSTODOINDUBAI: Embrace the Magic: A Comprehensive Guide to the All-New Hatta Festival

Forget about boarding a plane for a winter escape; Dubai’s Hatta Festival is set to redefine your holiday experience right in the heart of the UAE. As part of the #DubaiDestinations winter campaign, Brand Dubai introduces the Hatta Festival—a cultural extravaganza that promises a unique blend of tradition, sports, and entertainment.

Scheduled from December 15 to 31, the Hatta Festival will unfold against the stunning backdrop of Dubai’s mountainous region, gracing the newly-developed Leem Lake in Hatta and the renowned Hatta Wadi Hub.

This festival aligns with Dubai’s vision to transform Hatta into a prominent hub for business, investment, and tourism. Beyond that, it aims to shed light on the historical significance and natural wonders of the area, encouraging both tourists and residents to immerse themselves in the beauty of Hatta.

Diverse Experiences Await

In collaboration with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the festival is poised to offer an array of activities for every taste. Traditional musical performances, captivating light displays, delectable food and beverage pop-ups, thrilling sports, and live entertainment will be on the menu.

Hatta Wadi Hub will host local businesses showcasing diverse heritage tourism experiences, including a poetry competition highlighting Hatta’s historical importance. Sports enthusiasts can indulge in activities ranging from padel and tennis to mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and zip-lining. Meanwhile, artistic workshops and educational experiences for children, along with an ice skating and roller-skating rink, promise fun for the whole family.

Scenic Beauty and Culinary Delights

Leem Lake, a three-hectare marvel in the heart of Hatta, promises breathtaking landscapes and sunset views amidst the Hatta mountains. Visitors can relish a specially curated light show, adding a touch of magic to the serene surroundings.

After a day of exploration, the dining experiences at Hatta Wadi Hub await. From renowned spots like Saddle, Home Bakery, and GOAT to the ever-popular Salt pop-up at Leem Lake, culinary delights abound. The festival also serves as a platform for homegrown businesses to showcase their offerings.

Classic Cars and Cultural Nights

Car enthusiasts can revel in a parade of classic cars making their way from Dubai to the festival grounds on December 30. Motorcycle aficionados, fear not—a dedicated procession awaits you on December 24.

For those attending the festival between December 21 and January 1, 2024, Hatta Cultural Nights offer a chance to engage more intimately with Hatta’s heritage. Enjoy folkloric and artistic performances, Nabati poetry, and displays of local artisans’ products and young talents.

When and Where to Experience the Magic

The Hatta Festival welcomes visitors daily, with weekday hours from 3 pm to 9 pm and extended weekend hours from 10 am to 10 pm. Mark your calendars and embark on an unforgettable journey through culture, adventure, and scenic wonders at the all-new Hatta Festival.
